The Wilf Ward Family Trust is a popular and well respected registered charity currently operating throughout the Yorkshire/Humber region.

With over 80 service bases and 1,000 staff, the Trust has a proud record of supporting children, young people and adults with disabilities.

The Trust’s mission reflects the commitment of its Trustees to provide a true family-orientated service, with emphasis on independence and social inclusion.

Children and young people can move through Trust services enjoying a smooth transition into adult life, an experience valued by service users and families alike.

The Trust has considerable experience in helping design services to support people in times of need or crises.

We are working closely with current service users, children, young people and family carers to develop a range of short break services for children and young people with a disability however complex or profound their needs may be.

We will provide dedicated personal assistants who will be skilled and experienced supporting children and young people with a disability to enjoy meaningful activities.

We believe in independence, choice and social inclusion and will endeavour to ensure that our services provide safe and exciting opportunities which families have confidence in.

Trust staff have specialist knowledge in relation to complex needs and behaviour and receive approved and accredited training via its in-house learning centre.

If you need to contact me about anything to do with children's services provision, then please do not hesitate.
